A two-day pilgrimage to Mount Athos offers a chance to visit the most important monasteries in a short time. Highlights include the capital, Karyes, where we’ll pray at the Protaton Church before the “Axion Estin” icon. We’ll also visit St. Panteleimon, Koutloumousiou, Iviron, Karakallou, Pantokratoros, Stavronikita, and Vatopaidi Monasteries.
An experienced guide will share the history of the Holy Mountain, monastic life, and assist with translation. This brief yet profound journey will leave lasting memories.

Vatopaidi: Cincture of the Theotokos, 7 miraculous icons
Iviron: Iviron icon of the Mother of God
Filotheou: Glykophilousa Icon
Evening prayer, meal, and overnight stay at lotheou Monastery
Day 2
Morning prayer and meal, then visit:
Karakallou – Nameless icon of the Mother of God, the miraculous icon of Peter and Paul, and St. Martyr Gedeon known for helping cancer patients
Pantokratoros: Icon of Herondissa
Stavronikita: Icon of St. Nicholas
Prophet Elijah Skete: Theotokos of Tikhvin
St. Panteleimon Monastery: Relics and icons
Return to Ouranoupoli by ferry
Transfer to the hotel or the airport or Thessaloniki

Respect: Follow monastic rules; the guide will provide guidance.
Accommodation: Monastery stays are free, with breakfast and dinner included.
Photography: Allowed except in temples and some monasteries.
Clothes:
Pilgrims should wear neutral clothing that covers knees, shoulders, and arms, plus a headcover if needed.
