Departure from your hotel and transfer to the port of Pounta to take the ferry to Antiparos Island (duration: ±10mn). The enchanting atmosphere of Antiparos will seduce you as soon as you arrive. White houses with a blue touch, narrow streets with bougainvillea and eucalyptus, an irresistible atmosphere of optimism and good vibrations. The first stop will be for Chora (main town of Antiparos) where you will have a walk in the main market street until the Kastro. You will discover that Antiparos was a major attraction to all pirates. In 1440, the Venetians built this castle (‘Kastro’) to protect the residents, a marvel of architecture made from two story houses adjoined one to another. Then visit the famous Antiparos cave: hidden at 160 m deep (±400 steps will lead you up and down to the cave). There, a huge room of 216 m long and 160 m deep reveals a forest of stalactites and stalagmites. Ancient graffiti shows that for centuries numerous people visited the cave. Ferry back to Paros and transfer to your accommodation. For duration 6h00 or 8h00, free time for lunch & swim at an organized beach or free time for lunch at a seaside village tavern.
